We began our journey in 1998 through a group of motivated youngsters from Dalit communities who were committed to fighting caste based and social discrimination. The fight against caste discrimination is also a fight against poverty, injustice, and other exclusionary social norms. For over twenty two years, we have been working for the upliftment of socially excluded groups and communities.
Our work focuses on improving the quality of life of marginalized communities, with a special emphasis on Education, Health Care, Livelihood Promotion, and Gender Equality.
Over the years, we have consistently implemented capacity building programmes, trainings, workshops, awareness initiatives, and advocacy efforts. Through our various projects, we are currently working with more than 10,000 families and approximately 22,000 adolescents in the age group of 10 to 19 years.
Our overarching goal is to bring about sustainable socio economic change by strengthening community capacities and enabling people to lead dignified and self reliant lives.
Our Mission is to empower women and children from the socially excluded communities and groups through education, awareness campaigns, capacity building, mobilization and promoting their overall development.
To build a society based on equity and justice where all people have equal access to education, health, livelihood and dignity without discrimination.
